Providence agency wins grant to train young people
PROVIDENCE, R.I. A Providence agency has won a 700,000 dollar federal grant to help train and educate young people. The grant to Providence Plan will provide training in the construction trades and help young people aged 16 to 24 earn high school equivalency diplomas.
The funding is part of 54 million awarded nationwide.
