Spokeswoman says Giuliani apologizes to Bush for Kerik withdrawal
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani has apologized to President Bush over the Bernard Kerik flap.
Thats according to Giulianis spokeswoman, who says the two men had dinner Sunday at the White House. The get-together was planned several weeks ago, before Bernard Kerik was nominated to be homeland security secretary.
New York former top cop withdrew his name Friday night, amid questions about an immigration problem involving a family housekeeper.
Giuliani has been one of Keriks most vocal cheerleaders.
The former mayors spokeswoman says President Bush was very gracious and that Bush and Giuliani remain good friends.
