Wild elephants raid truck full of tapioca
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

BANGKOK, Thailand Some wild elephants in Thailand had a feast after coming across a delivery truck with a flat tire.

The truck's driver had walked away to get help but when he returned he found five or six elephants surrounding the vehicle, guzzling down his load of tapioca.

The man says he was too afraid to go near the truck and stop them.

The elephants ate their fill, then left.

Signs in the area about 60 miles east of Bangkok warn drivers to "beware of wild elephants foraging on the road at night."
