Kerry lawyer asks for visual inspection of some Ohio ballots
COLUMBUS, Ohio John Kerry's lawyer wants to have Kerry witnesses visually inspect the 92-thousand ballots cast in Ohio that showed no vote for president. The request is one of eleven items that Kerry is asking for as part of the recount in Ohio's 88 counties.
The recount was requested by two minor presidential candidates who received three-tenths of one percent of percent of the votes in Ohio in last month's election.
President Bush beat Kerry by about 119-thousand votes in Ohio and the state's 20 electoral votes put Bush over the top in the race. The electoral votes will be cast Monday.
