Real estate investor pays fine to settle lead disclosure claims
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

PROVIDENCE, R.I. A Providence-based real estate investor and three of his companies will pay 20,000 dollars to settle claims they violated federal lead paint disclosure rules.

The complaints were filed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency against Patrick Conley and the companies in April. They involve six houses in Providence, Central Falls and Narragansett.

Conley and his companies were cited for failing to provide purchasers with information on lead hazards.

The companies are Options Realty, Skybox Realty, RIPG and Sedona Associates.
