Price arrives at Florida prison
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- After five weeks in transit, convicted murderer Craig Price has arrived at a Florida prison.
The 31-year-old Price has been locked up at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston since 1989 for killing his four neighbors.
Price ordinarily would have been released at age 21, but he was sentenced to additional time for a variety of other crimes, including assaulting corrections officers and repeatedly refusing court-ordered psychiatric exams.
According to prison officials, Price was transferred apparently for his safety and as a reward for good behavior.
For security reasons, the name of the Florida prison has not been disclosed.
