Entertainment: Usher wins big, no big announcement from Britney Spears
LAS VEGAS Britney Spears had nothing more to announce at the Billboard Music Awards than the rap artist of the year. Spears made her first appearance since her wedding in September. Many had speculated she'd announce she was pregnant, but she simply read the nominees, gave the award to Kanye (KAHN'-yay) West and left.
Usher continues to roll over all competition, picking up eleven awards including artist of the year and single of the year for "Yeah!"
The newest award, ringtone of the year, went to 50 Cent for "In Da Club."
Other winners include Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Gretchen Wilson, Big and Rich and OutKast. Stevie Wonder was given the Century Award for creative achievement.
