Delta worker struck and killed by de-icing truck at Boston airport
BOSTON Authorities say an airline worker has been killed by a de-icing truck at Boston's Logan Airport. The district attorney's office says the Delta Air Lines employee was walking on the tarmac around daybreak when he stepped into the truck's path.
The driver was another Delta employee who had worked with the man for several years. The D-A's office says all evidence points to a "horrible" accident, and no charges have been filed.
Officials say the truck driver has been hospitalized with stress-related symptoms.
