Penalty phase in Scott Peterson trial to resume this morning
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. There'll be more testimony today from people fighting to spare Scott Peterson the death penalty for killing his pregnant wife, Laci.

The jury that will decide whether Peterson gets the death penalty or life in prison heard from a slew of family and friends yesterday, with more testimony scheduled today and tomorrow. Deliberations are expected to begin Thursday.

Two of Peterson's uncles testified yesterday that the conviction was a mistake, while four cousins described him as loving and gentle. One cousin said she'd like her son to grow up to be like Peterson.
