U-S troops round up nearly three dozen Iraqis
BAGHDAD, Iraq The military says U-S troops are holding 34 Iraqis, nearly a dozen of whom are accused of making explosives to attack coalition forces. Twenty of the detainees were captured in Baghdad following a short firefight.
One search of a house in northern Iraq turned up three homemade bombs.
Seven of the Iraqis being held are believed to be members of a car bomb-making cell.
