Red Sox trophy to arrive in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) -- SpringfieldÔŅĹs City Hall is set to be the seat of Red Sox nation this morning.
Outfielder Trot Nixon is among the players and Boston V-I-Ps expected at a ceremony this morning to show off the teamÔŅĹs World Series trophy.
The ceremony kicks off at 11:30 at City Hall. Later in the day, the trophy is heading off for another showing in Worcester.
