Red Sox announce Spring Training schedule
BOSTON (AP) -- Fans may still be celebrating the Red Sox World Series win, but the team is already looking ahead to next year.
The 2004 Spring Training schedule was released today (Tuesday) for the teamÔŅĹs 30-game campaign in Florida.
The Red Sox will open the Grapefruit League on Thursday, March third when they host the Minnesota Twins at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers.
Tickets go on sale December seventh in Florida.
Boston will play the Cardinals on March 16th. The Red Sox swept St. Louis last month for their first World Series win in 86 years.
