World Series trophy in Rhode Island today
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Rhode Islanders can get an up-and-close look at the Red Sox�s World Series trophy today.
The hardware will be on display at noon on the south steps of the Statehouse in Providence. Pitcher Bronson Arroyo and Red Sox President and C-E-O Larry Lucchino will be on hand. Arroyo came up through the Sox farm system, and threw a no-hitter at Pawtucket.
The public is invited.
