RI Red Sox rally is scheduled for noon tomorrow
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Rhode Island Red Sox fans will have an opportunity to meet some of the World Series champion players tomorrow in Providence.
TheyÔŅĹll also be able to take pictures with the teamÔŅĹs trophy during the rally at the Rhode Island Statehouse.
Headliners from the Red Sox expected to make the trip include pitcher Bronson Arroyo and team president Larry Lucchino. Several members of the Pawtucket Red Sox team will also participate.
A day after the Sox swept the World Series in four games, the team said it would bring the trophy to all six New England states to share the teamÔŅĹs success with fans across the region.
The rally is scheduled for noon on the south steps of the Statehouse.
