Red Sox will donate an autographed jersey to a Victoria Snelgrove foundation
Printer Friendly Version

BOSTON (AP) -- The Red Sox say they will donate an autographed jersey to a foundation set up in the name of Victoria Snelgrove.

The 21-year-old Emerson College student died last month after being struck by a pellet from a police pepper-spray gun.

Police were trying to control a crowd that had gathered outside Fenway Park after the Red Sox beat the Yankees in Game Seven of the American League Championship Series.

The jersey will be auctioned off to benefit an educational fund.
