Kerrys plane lands at Hanscom
BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) -- Senator John Kerry is back in his home state for the biggest day in his life.
Kerrys plane landed at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford at around noon. He plans to vote at his regular polling place at the Statehouse.
That will be followed by a visit to the Union Oyster House, where hell dine on his traditional Election Day lunch of oysters and chowder.
Later in the evening at Copley Square, the senator will likely either celebrate his victory or concede defeat against a backdrop that depicts a rippling American flag.
Among the scheduled performers: Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow and James Taylor.
Kerrys return to Massachusetts follows a whirlwind final few days of campaigning for president, mostly in the so-called battleground states.
