Lowe�s jersey, Schilling�s shoes among items headed to Cooperstown

(AP) -- It won�t be long before the Red Sox� historic World Series win is immortalized in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The team is sending several artifacts to Cooperstown, New York, including the jersey pitcher Derek Lowe wore during the final game of the World Series.

Also, the spikes worn by Curt Schilling in Game Two of the World Series, in which he shut down the St. Louis Cardinals despite a badly-injured ankle.

Other items include a cap worn by Pedro Martinez; the spikes worn by Keith Foulke when he recorded the final outs of the series; and the glove used throughout the postseason by shortstop Orlando Cabrera.

The items are scheduled to arrive at the Hall of Fame today and will be on display in the near future in the exhibit called �Autumn Glory: A Postseason Celebration.�
