One arrest in downtown Providence celebration after Red Sox win

PROVIDENCE, R.I. Students and others took to the streets last night throughout Providence after the Red Sox won the World Series.

Video footage showed throngs of people moving through streets in downtown Providence. The celebration was mostly peaceful. One man was arrested for allegedly fighting with another person.

Students at Brown University took to their campus to cheer the win. No reports of any incidents there.
