Stars come out to support Kerry in campaign's closing days
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa Democrat John Kerry is hoping a little star power will help put him in the White House. Kerry will be joined on the campaign trail today by rock legend Bruce Springsteen. "The Boss" will attend rallies with Kerry in Madison, Wisconsin, and Columbus, Ohio -- both college towns.
Springsteen is expected to sing a few songs and tell the crowd why he's supporting Kerry. Young voters could prove critical in helping the Massachusetts senator win the election.
Yesterday, rocker Jon Bon Jovi lent his support to Kerry. Bon Jovi attended a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, entertaining the crowd with four songs, including "Livin' on a Prayer."
Kerry heads back to the battleground state of Florida late tonight for campaign stops tomorrow.
