Georgia Democrat campaigns with Bush
VIENNA, Ohio President Bush brought a friend along on the campaign trail today -- Democratic Senator Zell Miller of Georgia. He's the self-proclaimed "Bush Democrat" who denounced John Kerry at the G-O-P convention.
Today Miller asked supporters in Vienna, Ohio, "Which man will keep our families most safe from the terrorists?" He contends it's President Bush. He says Bush "never waves or wobbles."
Miller says before Nine-Eleven he never thought about voting Republican. But after Nine-Eleven, he says there's no choice.
Bush is trying to entice Democrats to cross the aisle and support him next Tuesday.
