SIOUX CITY, Iowa The "big people's" election may be next Tuesday, but Democrat John Kerry was campaigning for the "little people's" vote in an unplanned stop at an Iowa elementary school this morning. Kerry waded into a group of kindergarteners through fifth graders at M.G. Clark Elementary School, asking for their votes in Monday's mock election.
He also answered questions. Asked what it's like to travel, he said, "It's a lot of work."
One child asked why he doesn't like President Bush. Kerry replied, "I disagree with his policies."
