Governor honors Providence boy for actions during emergency
PROVIDENCE, R.I. A seven-year-old Providence boy is getting accolades from the governor today. Governor Carcieri will honor Anthony Sousa as a "young hero." The boy called 911 to get help for his father when the man suffered a severe seizure.
Dispatchers said Anthony was composed and handled the emergency well.
He'll be honored at a Statehouse ceremony this afternoon.
