Shipbuilder Senesco Marine to make announcement about its future
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. State officials are gathering at Senesco Marine this morning to deliver news about the company's future. Governor Carcieri and other state and local officials are expected to attend the 11 a.m. event.
The company says it's making a major announcement about its future. No other details were provided.
Senesco is a shipyard that employs about 200 people. It's located at Quonset Point, in North Kingstown.
