Supporting Our Troops
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Rhode Islanders are urged to support the families of deployed service members by displaying magnetic car ribbons.
Lieutenant Governor Charles Fogarty says the ribbons can be bought from the Rhode Island National Guard Family Readiness Group. Large ribbons are four dollars and small ones are three dollars.
All proceeds are used to benefit the families of deployed soldiers.
