12th annual Walk in Forest is today

SCITUATE, R.I. A state agency and the Rhode Island chapter of the Society of American Foresters are leading a walk in the woods today.

The 12th annual "Walk in the Forest" day is being on Providence Water Supply Board land in Scituate. Foresters will lead small groups on hour-long tours throughout the day.

Fifty-five percent of Rhode Island is forested.
