But the kids want to put the brakes on their parent's plans to hit the road. Next up, it's the new hit "Desperate Housewives." Gabrielle goes to great lengths to hide her affair.

Another person is voted off the islands on tonight's "Survivor: Vanuatu" on C-B-S. A 1992 case involving a young woman killed after leaving a political event on election night is re-opened on "Cold Case." After that on "48 Hours Mystery," a 14-year-old confesses he murdered his kid sister, but the real killer knows it's not true.
H-B-O is showing the 2003 romantic charmer "Something's Gotta Give," starring Jack Nicholson as a playboy who falls in love with his girlfriend's mother played by Diane Keaton.
