Cumberland Residents Say Fence is an Eyesore
Cumberland- Diamond Hill Residents say a fence put up around Diamond Hill Reservoir is an eyesore and takes away the reservoir's beauty.
Pamela Marchand of the Pawtucket Water supply Board says the six foot fence with barbed wire will protect water quality, the dams, and most importantly, it is protection from terrorism. She also says Cumberland is not the only town taking precautions in case of a terrorist attack. She says changes are being made throughout the state.
A meeting is scheduled with the Mayor to review and consider other options.
