Sports: Cardinals 6 Dodgers 2 (Cardinals win series 3-1)

LOS ANGELES The St. Louis Cardinals are back in the National League Championship Series for the third time in five seasons.

Albert Pujols (POO'-hohlz) drove in the last four runs and the Cards advanced by downing Los Angeles 6-to-2 in Game Four of the N-L Division Series at L-A.

Pujols snapped a two-all tie with a three-run homer off loser Wilson Alvarez in the fourth inning. He later delivered an R-B-I single in the seventh to give the Redbirds a four-run cushion.

Reggie Sanders belted a solo homer and Edgar Renteria added a run-scoring single to help the Cardinals rebound from Saturday's 4-to-0 loss to the Dodgers.

Winning pitcher Jeff Suppan (SOO'-pahn) was superb over seven innings, allowing two runs and only two hits. Suppan didn't allow a hit after Steve Finley's third-inning single. The only other hit allowed by Suppan was Jayson Werth's solo homer in the first inning.

The Cardinals will host either Atlanta or Houston in Game One of the N-L-C-S on Wednesday.
