Federal court refuses to rehear Cianci's appeal
PROVIDENCE, R.I. A federal appeals court in Boston won't rehear former Providence Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci's appeal of a corruption conviction. A three-judge panel of the court in August denied Cianci's appeal of his racketeering conspiracy conviction.
The full First US Circuit Court of Appeals today refused to rehear the case.
The court also refused to rehear the appeals of Frank Corrente and Richard Autiello.
