All Clear Given To Scarborough State Beach In Narragansett

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. The all-clear has been given for Scarborough State Beach in Narragansett.

The beach had been closed due to elevated levels of bacteria in the water. Tests show the levels are now within acceptable levels, and the water is safe for swimming.

There are 115 licensed beaches in Rhode Island.
