A new TiVo recorder
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

A Korean company called Humax is entering the U-S market with digital video recorders with TiVo capabilities.

Humax is a leading maker of satellite set top boxes.

The D-V-R models are based on capabilities. One model can hold 80 hours of content, another can hold 300 hours of content.

Humax will also be selling digital flat L-C-D and plasma T-Vs in the U-S.

Digital Video Recorders can be used to record live television, record shows in advance, store programs and pause live programs while they're being recorded, without disrupting the recording.
