Providence Man Pleads Guilty to Gun Possession
(Providence-AP) -- A Providence man has pleaded guilty to having a gun while a felon.
Thirty-one-year-old Jerrell Page entered the guilty plea in federal court yesterday. The U-S Attorney's Office says he'll be sentenced in August. Page faces a maximum of ten years in prison and a 250-thousand dollar fine.
Prosecutors say detectives seized a 357 caliber revolver from Page in January. That's when they stopped the car Page was a passenger in for a traffic violation.
