Club Fire Tragedy: One Year Later
Mental health counselors to be on hand at station fire site
(West Warwick-AP) -- Mental health counselors will be on hand at tonight's ceremony at the site of The Station fire.
Family and friends of victims and survivors are expected to gather there to mark the fire's anniversary.
Clergy members will lead the ceremony and the names of the dead will be read aloud.
Lisa Yanku is the program manager of the Outreach for Recovery Program.
She says several counselors will be at the site to help anyone who might be overcome with emotions.
She says the counselors will be wearing badges so they will be easy to identify.
