Club Fire Tragedy: One Year Later
Family of youngest victim celebrates with a play he authored

Providence-AP) -- The family of the youngest victim of The Station nightclub fire will celebrate his life tonight with a performance of a play he authored.

Nicholas O'Neill was 18 when he perished in the West Warwick fire. He had written the play after a five-year-old girl he knew died.

It deals with teenagers who die and come back to life as angels to help others.

The Encore Repertory Company is staging the play at Woonsocket's Stadium Theatre tonight. It's part of a show called "A Night of Angels" that includes musical performances.

Proceeds will go to a scholarship fund in O'Neill's name. Three of O'Neill's brothers and his father are taking part in the production.
