After journey from Lewinsky fame to cancer battle, Tripp set to wed
Washington-AP -- The Pentagon employee who went public with Monica Lewinsky's relationship with President Clinton has wedding plans. Linda Tripp says she'll marry her childhood sweetheart in the spring.
Tripp has been battling breast cancer and told C-N-N's "Larry King Live" she had a lumpectomy and underwent chemotherapy. She says the cancer is now in remission.
Tripp has also settled a lawsuit with the Pentagon, which she calls a "moral victory."
She'll get more than 595-thousand dollars because a Pentagon official released confidential information about her to The New Yorker magazine.
Tripp secretly taped Lewinsky's conversations about her relationship with Clinton.
