Gator fans get hitched in parking lot before football game
Gainesville, Florida-AP -- They're hoping the marriage goes better than the Florida-Florida State game. Mona Stewart wore orange and blue for her tailgate wedding to Bill Ward in Gainesville yesterday.
The Jacksonville couple was married beneath a blue canopy decorated with orange-and-blue balloons and ribbons before kickoff of the Florida Gators game.
The wedding took place at their usual tailgating spot in Gainesville.
The bride wore an orange-and-blue blouse and a blue denim skirt, and the groom wore an orange button-down shirt and blue jeans.
The Gators lost to the Seminoles 38-to-34.
