Reed, Clinton head to Iraq

Islamabad, Pakistan-AP) -- Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed is visiting Iraq today, along with fellow Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.
Their arrival in Baghdad was upstaged by President Bush�s surprise visit to the Iraqi capital yesterday.
Clinton and Reed shared Thanksgiving with US troops in Afghanistan before flying on to Pakistan and talks last night with President Musharraf.
Pakistan�s news agency quotes Clinton as praising that nation�s role in the war on terror. But she is also calling for more troops to provide the kind of security needed to rebuild Afghanistan.
Clinton also expresses concern that pro-Taliban cells are crossing into Afghanistan from Pakistan to launch new attacks.
