Computers, high-definition T-V's, digital cameras -- popular gifts
Undated-AP -- Just making your holiday shopping list and considering what electronic items to buy? The Consumer Electronic Association -- a trade group -- is out with its tenth annual Holiday Purchase Patterns Survey.
C-E-A found that 70 percent of all adult consumers expect to spend the same amount or more this year on gifts this holiday season. That's up from 68 percent in 2002.
The average adult consumer is expected to buy about seven electronics products this holiday season, up from six products last year.
Personal computers topped the list.
C-E-A spokesman Sean Wargo says the computer has really moved up the list in terms of overall holiday wishes.
Wargo says digital cameras continue to climb in popularity.
High definition televisions are coming down in price and a small H-D-T-V can now be picked up for under 500 dollars.
Digital cameras are also offering higher resolutions at prices that are under last year's.
