Bristol firefighters are remembering Michael Andrade
Right now, Bristol firefighters are remembering one of their own.
A memorial to specialist Michael Andrade stands outside the Bristol fire department.
Now, firefighters, friends and relatives honor the fallen soldier.
Andrade was killed Sept. 24 in a collision about 40 miles north of Baghdad.
A wake will be held Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Bristol Fire Department Headquarters.
His funeral is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol.
There will be a procession of military and firefighter personnel from the Bristol Fire Department Headquarters to St. Elizabeth's Church, and from St. Elizabeth's Church to St. Mary's Cemetery. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
