Rapper convicted in nightclub slaying
Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version

Gretna, Louisiana-AP -- It's a second-degree murder conviction for C-Murder.

A jury in Gretna, Louisiana has found him guilty in the nightclub shooting of a 16-year-old.

Relatives of the rap star sobbed as the verdict was read -- and were escorted out of the courtroom.

C-Murder's real name is Corey Miller -- and he's the younger brother of rap star and entertainment mogul Master P.

Their father says the family will seek an appeal.

The rapper was charged in the death of Steve Thomas, who was beaten and shot during a fight at the club on January 12th, 2002.

C-Murder's lawyers argued that he was at the club -- but wasn't involved in the killing.
