Lawyers, attorney generalÔŅĹs office meet about club documents
(Providence-AP) -- Lawyers involved in civil lawsuits stemming from the West Warwick nightclub fire have been meeting with the attorney generalÔŅĹs office.
The two sides are trying to agree on which documents can be released without impeding the stateÔŅĹs criminal investigation.
Attorney Max Wistow represents fire victimsÔŅĹ families and survivors.
HeÔŅĹs scheduled to collect documents from the state fire marshal tomorrow.
Wistow and other lawyers are seeking information about the club in preparation to filing lawsuits.
Last week they collected documents about the club from West Warwick officials.
The attorney generalÔŅĹs office says it will cooperate with the civil attorneys as long as the criminal investigation isnÔŅĹt jeopardized.
