Langevin plans trip to Israel
(Washington-AP) -- Rhode Island Congressman Jim Langevin has announced plans to travel to Israel next month.
He plans on meeting with Israeli and Arab government leaders and defense and economic experts.
He will also tour anti-terrorism facilities.
Langevin is a member of the House Select Committee on Homeland Security.
He says the facilities could be useful as the U-S tries to improve its own citizen protection and homeland security measures.
The trip is hosted by the American Israel Education Foundation.
