Accounting firm hired for study of tax-exempt property
(Providence-AP) -- A Providence accounting firm will help a study commission review tax-exempt property.
The city council has hired the accounting firm Mullen, Scorpio AND Cerilli.
The commission will determine whether all property owned in Providence by the institutions qualify for the exemptions.
The review will begin with property owned by hospitals.
