Bristol driver dies after hitting pole
BRISTOL, R.I. (AP) _ A local man died on Tuesday after the vehicle he was driving slammed into a telephone pole.
The accident happened about 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sousa Street and Narrows Road.
The victim died after he was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, according to WPRI-TV.
Police have not identified the man.
