Woman Assaulted With Bat
A woman was seriously injured and may have had her leg broken after being attacked by a baseball bat last night in Providence. Police say the attack occurred as the woman and a man were arguing.
The woman suffered injuries to her leg and neck, and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Police say her leg may have been broken.
The man was taken into custody. Charges had not been filed as of last night. Police say the two have had a history of feuding.
