Satellite radio is now available through your personal computer

Undated-AP -- X-M Satellite Radio is now selling a receiver you can hook up to your personal computer.

Until now, X-M has been hooking up satellite service through car radios.

X-M spokesman Chance Patterson says the service comes through an antenna the size of a computer mouse and a receiver the size of a Palm Pilot.

Satellite radio on a P-C takes a lot of burden off the computer. Internet streaming can take up a lot of space on a computer.

Patterson says the X-M P-C-R is affordable -- about 70 dollars. The monthly fee is less than ten dollars.

There's more information about the service at X-M-dot-com.
