218th Bristol 4th of July Parade
The parade will be hosted by WPRI 12�s Karen Adams and Steve Aveson and will be broadcast "live" beginning at 10:30am on both WPRI 12 and FOX Providence. The parade will be re-broadcast in its entirety on Saturday, July 5th at 12 noon on 12 and Sunday, July 6th at 12 noon on FOX.
The Bristol parade is the oldest, grandest, and best loved Independence Day celebration in the U.S.
Thousands of spectators, marching bands, colorful mummers, and about 20 floats.
The parade has marched down Hope and High Streets as far back as 1826.
