(Pawtucket, Rhode Island-AP) -- Anton French came within a single of hitting for the cycle as the Pawtucket Red Sox rallied for a 6-to-3 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons tonight.

French hit a solo home run in the first inning, tripled in the third and doubled in the seventh. He struck out in the fifth, and drew a walk in his last at-bat.

The Red Sox trailed 3-to1 before busting out against the Red BaronsÔŅĹ bullpen in the seventh. Earl Snyder and French each had R-B-I doubles while Andy AbadÔŅĹs sacrifice fly gave Pawtucket the lead.
