Could this be the genie in the bottle for people with thin lips who can't stop snacking? Chad Davis has wished for years for fuller lips, "It's just been a complex of mine."
Chad found 'Loss Gloss". The company that makes it, Fiji Blend, lists the lip plumping ingredient as a patented maxi-lip blend. The appetite inhibitors include Saint John's Wort and a sugar eliminator that blocks the taste of sugar. So does it work?
"I put it to the test when I first got it. I thought I would try eating chocolate. I bought a candy bar and it just didn't taste good", says Amanda Tartt.
Chad says it keeps him from craving snacks in med school, "I never think about going to eat or anything."
"I put some red gum in my mouth, and it was so disgusting I had to spit it out", says Crystal Shores.
So, is it for real? Nutritionist April Towry says, "There is some research out there about natural extracts, possibly suppressing your appetite." She looked at the 'Loss Gloss" ingredients listed as sugar blockers and appetite inhibitors. "Actually, there's this one ingredient, this gimenus silvetris that's been receiving some hype. It comes from a plant in India. It can possibly inhibit your desire for sweetness or your craving for sugar or high sugar foods."
