Nurses Honored For Work During Nightclub Fire
Six nurses were honored today for their work during the Station Nightclub fire. All six voluntarily went to the scene when they learned of the blaze.
The six women are Donna Abaga, Tracy Chretien, Colleen Hartley, Alice Martin-Mitsmenn, Jan Matthews and Judy Moore. Four of them work at hospitals in Rhode Island, one is a school nurse and teacher and one is a retired nurse and former E.M.T.
Rhode Island State Representative Peter Ginaitt, who is also a West Warwick firefighter, lead the ceremony at Rhode Island Hospital.
